Strategic Content Engagement Manager
In 1996, Bill Gates wrote an essay that changed the course of digital marketing. Titled “Content is King,” he suggested most of the money generated on the internet would come from content.
Our client, a Copenhagen-based interior brand, has recently decided to rethink “content & communication” and seek a curious, clever and skilled Copywriter with a strategic communication background.
You will have the power to create and write engaging copy, continuously improve and build the communication platform, and bring the overall content and communication to a higher level. You will deliver engaging storytelling that impacts people’s everyday lives. And hopefully, you will ask, “will this content enrich people’s lives and will they naturally engage with our brand? “
The role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will ensure that the copy is customer-centric and tailored across all touchpoints whilst capturing and protecting the brand’s tone of voice. With the Marketing and Ecommerce team and external performance marketing partners, you will define the content for the customer journey to craft and pitch compelling and relevant content and brand stories.
Be responsible for the overall content calendar and creating engaging and relevant copy for newsletters, automation flows, social media platforms, LinkedIn, landing pages, website, webshop, product descriptions, SEO content, service pages etc. to name a few.
In this new role, you will become the curious, creative and strategic content lead and secure to create engaging and relevant content a more meaningful communication flow and enhance the overall customer journey experience.. You will bring new ideas to optimize content and identify areas for improvement.
Your experience encompass
- Minimum 5 years of working with communication either for a brand or an agency as a strategic copywriter or communication lead
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- You are great with words and can adapt your writing style to suit a specific audience
- You can work to tight deadlines and still deliver accurate engaging copy
- A strong eye for detail and dedication to high-quality content
- A keen aesthetic sense
- Willingness to learn about trends and key topics
- You are proficient in English or a native speaker and have a good level of fluency in Danish – but not a must for this role.
Most importantly, you are known for having a great personality and a solid commitment to collaborating, sharing knowledge and being open-minded.
